The annual Executive Directors Conference is designed by and for executive directors of regional organizations, including regional councils and metropolitan planning organizations. The conference, held in a different region of the country each year, is exclusively for executive directors and their senior staff to discuss topics including organizational structure, innovative best practices, and new developments in technology.

Mobile Workshop:  A Tour of Dayton’s Peace Bridge and Wright-Dunbar Interpretive Center 
Join an enlightening tour of Dayton’s transformative infrastructure, beginning with the award-winning Third Street Peace Bridge, a symbol of community resilience and connection. Experience firsthand how this landmark fosters unity through innovative design. Following the bridge tour, we will visit the Wright-Dunbar Interpretive Center, to explore the rich heritage of the Wright brothers and Paul Laurence Dunbar and immerse yourself in the history that shaped aviation and African American literature.  Transportation from the hotel to the Wright-Dunbar neighborhood will be provided. Meet in the hotel lobby by 2:45 PM.
