Healing From The Damage Caused By A Narcissist

Our ex narc-elder would try to dominate and control all members of the cult. :o)

With their need for control and dominance, narcissists can generate psychological damage that requires much time and effort for healing. Recognizing this, Dr. Les Carter walks you through a series of questions that he has honed through his many conversations with patients moving beyond narcissistic pain. A troubled narcissist ultimately does not have to set your pace emotionally. That is something, with the proper insight and determination, you get to manage.

8 Tactics of the Narcissist and How to Stay Out of Them

Over time, you learn that narcissists have a self-serving agenda that prompts them to relate with twisted logic. Dr. Les Carter explains that instead of trying to set their logic straight, you are better off as you learn how and why they think as they do. To that effect, he identifies 8 of their most common tactics. Once you are able to see into their manipulative patterns and schemes, you can make distinct plans to stay out of the traps they lay in front of you.

Gaslighting in Spiritual Communities :o)

Our ex narc-elder leverages ALL of these gaslighting techniques. He is so full of pride/ego that he cannot receive correction- he hasn’t for years. :o)

He has a Christ or God-complex and has a huge boulder on his property with a plaque that says ‘Stone Which The Builders Rejected.’ This quote is often associated with Jesus Christ and His persecution, yet the inference is that our ex narc-elder is the one who has suffered persecution by ‘factious’ people. In reality, he is deflecting from the fact that he IS the source of faction/discord amongst the brethren.
