Leeann Sinpatanasakul joins NARC with over a decade of experience in transportation and infrastructure policy. Prior to joining NARC, she worked at the U.S. Department of Transportation as Policy Advisor to the Deputy Secretary, implementing key programs of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), including the deployment of electric vehicle charging stations, advancing railroad and multimodal projects, and more.

Leeann also brings strong legislative expertise from her nearly five years on Capitol Hill as the transportation, infrastructure, and Army Corps of Engineers legislative aide to Senator Schumer. There, she had a front row seat into what it takes to pass landmark legislation including the IIJA, the Inflation Reduction Act, and the CHIPS and Science Act, while building deep relationships with the Senate committees for transportation and infrastructure policy.

Her passion for regional government stems from her early career at Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, where she worked for five years to advance federal and state active transportation policies.

Leeann holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science from Rider University.
